The sculpted forms Clare creates are inspired by her love of the sea. She spent her childhood living on the coast and took every opportunity to enjoy the variety of environment. Exploring along the beach at low tide to study the ever changing chalk rock pools and their inhabitants and walking up on the cliffs to soak up the landscape.

6th - 11th November 2013 Really enjoyed Natural Flux exhibition at The Brick Lane Gallery I was one of a handful of artists joining Peter Warren from www.saruyama.co.uk
It was great to be there on the opening night and witness the coming together of ceramics and bonsai enthusiasts - two art forms colliding. My webguy has promised me a page dedicated to my bonsai pots! Watch this space.
Art in Clay Farnham is a smaller indoor event held in the lead up to Christmas - a good place to pick up a unique hand made gift. The Maltings is a beautiful old building in the heart of Farnham, which over the last few years has been tastefully refurbished. The work has made the building more accessible, but has kept all it's character and charm.
